AN ECLECTIC TEAM of manufacturers, doctors, PhDs, salesmen, marketers, and entrepreneurs joined forces in 2004 to revive a proven therapy that dates back almost 60 years. Electropulse therapy was successfully used to treat pain in the 1950s. It was known to activate and enhance the body's own healing mechanisms allowing the patient to be freed from pain naturally, without side effects. But back then it was administered with a device the size of a refrigerator which made it expensive, cumbersome and limited.
...
Today similar but much more refined pulse signals can be produced by a device the size of a wristwatch. The founders made a prototype device and called on MUDHAUS to design the product, name the company and describe the technology.
...
These pulses activate cells within the bloodstream that are the essential part of the body's ability to heal or "revive" damaged tissue. IVIVI. In Italian "i vivi" means "the living". "The Technology of Life" was our tagline.
...
Product and packaging designs followed for the wound care market as well as cosmetic surgery recovery.
